Lead Business Systems Analyst

Superset is engaged with public and private sector clients within the Transportation & Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities, Industrial & Manufacturing, and Buildings & Facilities sectors. In support of our capital infrastructure portfolio, Superset is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Lead Business Systems Analyst.

The Professional Services Business Unit is an expert team of management consultants and SMEs in analytics, cloud solutions, construction management, alternative delivery, finance, and facilities management that build and operate foundational systems and services used to plan and deliver North American public infrastructure.

*This is a remote position and the candidate must reside in Canada.

Responsibilities 

  • Guiding the business systems team by mentoring staff, supporting the development of business cases, preparing and managing detailed work plans and delivering on multiple concurrent system projects 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the implementation and ongoing efforts for one or more projects.  

  • Devises and executes strategies to promote projects to support business strategies and objectives. Regularly develops new project content and works with management to enhance projects participation and effectiveness. 

  • Delivers day-to-day project services and provides technical counsel to project staff on the administration and support of ongoing projects. This may include drafting presentations and updates, facilitating client requests for information, acting as liaison to other service areas, assisting with team meetings/calls, etc. 

  • Conducts project research and data assessments to evaluate project progress and determine if objectives are met. Analyzes and prepares reports and recommendations to executive leadership. 

  • Leads and supports defined project plans with milestones and contingency plans as needed based on budget, timing, and business need. 

  • Manage the implementation, integration, and administration of the Program Management Information Systems (PMIS) within a complex large capital project environment. 

  • Responsible for the implementation and integration of the following Program Management functional tools: Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, Oracle EBS, ARM, Aconex, ProjectWise and SharePoint.

Qualifications  

  • Excellent communications skills (both oral and written) – role requires the ability to communicate clearly and influence various senior-level stakeholders and leaders 

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage and collaborate with team members across various locations in a virtual work environment. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and professional certifications.  

  • Experience with a wide range of methodologies and project types including organizational assessments, strategy reviews, process redesign and technology implementations 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls and business systems with experience supporting Engineering and Construction Projects 

  • Experienced as an implementer in a minimum of one of the following systems: Primavera P6, SharePoint, ProjectWise, Acconex, EcoSys, Oracle Contract Manager or Primavera Unifier 

  • Demonstrates a strong combination of leadership, technical skills and client-facing business skills with extensive experience in building and presenting business cases 

  • Expertise in the design and creation of detailed project reports for various audiences 

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment
